• 产品描述Transcription factor that binds DNA in a non-specific manner, yet also specifically recognizes the core sequence 5'-CAC[GA]TG-3'. Activates the transcription of growth-related genes. Binds to the VEGFA promoter, promoting VEGFA production and subsequent sprouting angiogenesis . Regulator of somatic reprogramming, controls self-renewal of embryonic stem cells. Functions with TAF6L to activate target gene expression through RNA polymerase II pause release (By similarity).Myc proteins are transcription factors that activate expression of many pro-proliferative genes through binding enhancer box sequences (E-boxes) and recruiting histone acetyltransferases (HATs). Myc is thought to function by upregulating transcript elongation of actively transcribed genes through the recruitment of elongation factors.[8] It can also act as a transcriptional repressor. By binding Miz-1 transcription factor and displacing the p300 co-activator, it inhibits expression of Miz-1 target genes. In addition, myc has a direct role in the control of DNA replication.[9] This activity could contribute to DNA amplification in cancer cells.

  Fig1: Western blot analysis of Myc-tag on different lysates. Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% BSA in PBS for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (EM1902-38, 1/500) was used in 5% BSA at room temperature for 2 hours. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody (HA1001) at 1:5,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.

  Lane 1: N-terminal Myc-tagged recombinant protein lysate
  Lane 2: C-terminal Myc-tagged recombinant protein lysate

   

  

  Fig2: Immobilized C-terminal Myc-tagged recombinant protein. at 1 μg/ml overnight at 4℃. Then blocked with 1% BSA for 1 hour at 37℃, and incubated with the primary antibody for 1 hour at 25℃.
