This protein carries a human IgG1 Fc tag at the C-terminus, followed by an Avi tag (Avitag™).
The protein has a calculated MW of 54.3 kDa. The protein migrates as 65-70 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
Biotinylation of this product is performed using Avitag™ technology. Briefly, the single lysine residue in the Avitag is enzymatically labeled with biotin.

Biotinylated Human IGFBP-7, Fc,Avitag on SDS-PAGE under reducing (R) condition. The gel was stained overnight with Coomassie Blue. The purity of the protein is greater than 95%.
The purity of Biotinylated Human IGFBP-7, Fc,Avitag is more than 90% and the molecular weight of this protein is around 105-128 kDa verified by SEC-MALS.

Biotinylated Human IGFBP-7, Fc,Avitag immobilized on CM5 Chip can bind Human C1q R1, His Tag with an affinity constant of 14.3 μM as determined in a SPR assay (Biacore 8K) (Routinely tested).
