This protein carries no "tag".
The protein has a calculated MW of 17.4 kDa. The protein migrates as 24 kDa and 25-28 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
Less than 0.01 EU per μg by the LAL method.
The sterility testing was performed by membrane filtration method described in USP <71> and Eur. Ph. 2.6.1.
>95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
>95% as determined by SEC-MALS.
Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS, pH7.4. Normally trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.

Please see Certificate of Analysis for specific instructions.
For best performance, we strongly recommend you to follow the reconstitution protocol provided in the CoA.
For long term storage, the product should be stored at lyophilized state at -20°C or lower.
Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
This product is stable after storage at:
-20°C to -70°C for 12 months in lyophilized state;
-70°C for 3 months under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
ActiveMax® Human IL-7, Tag Free on SDS-PAGE under reducing (R) condition. The gel was stained overnight with Coomassie Blue. The purity of the protein is greater than 95%.
The purity of ActiveMax® Human IL-7, Tag Frees more than 95% and the molecular weight of this protein is around 18-28 kDa verified by SEC-MALS.
Report
Loaded Human IL-7 R alpha, Fc Tagon Protein A Biosensor, can bind IL-7, Tag Freewith an affinity constant of 0.21 μM as determined in BLI assay (ForteBio Octet Red96e) (QC tested).
Protocol
ActiveMax Human IL-7, Tag Freestimulates proliferation of PHA-P-activated human peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC). The EC50 for this effect is 1.565 ng/mL, corresponding to a specific activity of > 1.0 ⅹ10^8 IU/mg, which is calibrated against human IL-7 WHO International Standard (NIBSC code: 90/530) (QC tested).
