Background/背景

ClinMax™ Human IL-6 Quantitative ELISA Kit is designed to quantitate human IL-6 that is present in complex biological matrices, such as human serum, plasma, buffered solution, or cell culture. Interleukin-6 (IL-6) is a member of the pro-inflammatory cytokine family. It induces the expression of a variety of proteins responsible for acute inflammation, and plays an important role in the proliferation and differentiation of cells in humans. It has been demonstrated the dysregulation of the IL-6 signaling pathways can result in inflammatory and autoimmune disorders as well as cancer development.

Application/应用

This immunoassay is designed to quantitate human IL-6 that is present in human serum, plasma, buffered solution, or cell culture. It has been calibrated against a highly purified human IL-6 and is evaluated with unclassified standard from NIBSC/WHO.

It is for research use only.

Storage/存储

The unopened kit is stable for 12 months from the date of manufacture if stored at 2°C to 8°C. The opened kit should be stored per components table. The shelf life is 30 days from the date of opening.
